Historical Statement:
The Light & Life Bible College came into being in 1995 as a result of the working of the Holy Spirit in the hearts of the Philippine Free Methodist pioneer missionaries, in consultation with and encouragement by the Area Secretary E. C. John, and General Mission Secretary Byron S. Lamson of the General Missionary Board of the Free Methodist Church of North America. The name of the school was changed at the Annual Conference in April 1971 in order to meet the requirements of the Philippine Association of Bible and Theological Schools (PABATS) of using the name properly descriptive of the level of academic work offered. In 1985, the Bible College was fully accredited by PABATS. |
